Phoenix/Jean Grey from the XMen. I wanted to put this into fan art, but there really needs to be a mixed media portion for this to properly fit in there.
My Modern Art teacher says this is fine. Yay! Worked my butt off on this one.
Used Photoshop and Poser. Created figure and pose in poser, then ran it through a filter, colored it, used vector and pen tool to create lines and used folkvangar's backgrounds for the frame, and I painted some areas as well.
Just glad its done.

Weeelllll.... not Celtic but really Art Nouveau. If you look at my journal for this week you can see the style I'm talking about as I've featured many nouveau pictures. Very turn of the century. Do a google search on Mucha and you'll also see what I am talking about as well.

Hmm, I originally thought she looked bored. But looking closer she looks sad...which, knowing a little of the X-men story, makes sense. Not sure if you intended it or not, but good job on the emotion.
